คีย์บอร์ด Constance เป็นคีย์บอร์ดไซส์ TKL ที่มี Mounting แบบ Split Plate Top-mount โดยหลักการการดีไซน์คือเราต้องการให้ Constance TKL เป็นคีย์บอร์ด Daily Driver ที่มีดีไซน์มินิมอลแต่แฝงไปด้วยดีเทลที่น่าดึงดูด ไม่ฉูดฉาดจนเกินไป และยังให้ความสำคัญกับฟีลลิ่งการพิมพ์และเรื่องเสียงไม่แพ้การดีไซน์เลยครับ

Design Features

Constance TKL เป็นคีย์บอร์ดที่มี Typing Angle 9 องศา มี EKH สูง 23.799 มม. มาพร้อม Weight ทั้งหมด 3 ชิ้น ด้านใน ด้านนอก และ Toblerone ทำให้มีน้ำหนักหลังบิลด์มากถึง 3,480 กรัมสำหรับเวทวัสดุทองเหลือง (Brass Weights) และ 3,420 กรัมสำหรับเวทวัสดุสแตนเลสสตีล (Stainless Steel Weights) ครับ

Top Case ถูกออกแบบมาให้มีความเรียบง่ายสะอาดตา มีขอบมุมที่ดูนุ่มนวล แต่ไฮไลท์ของตัวบอร์ดจะอยู่ที่ External Weight และ Side Profile ครับ ตัว External Weight มีการตัดโค้งเล่นแสงให้ดูมีมิติ และ Side Profile เป็นแบบ Classic HG Side ที่เพิ่มรอยตัดโค้งเล็กน้อย ทำให้ดีไซน์โดยรวมดูมีเอกลักษณ์ Soft และสบายตามากขึ้นครับ ถึงแม้ว่าโดยรวมคีย์บอร์ดตัวนี้จะดูเรียบง่าย แต่ทุกขอบมุมผ่านการคิดขนาดและองศาการตัดมาอย่างถี่ถ้วน เพื่อให้ดีไซน์ของ Constance TKL ละเอียดและลงตัวมากที่สุดครับ

Mounting และ Plate

Constance TKL เป็นคีย์บอร์ด Top Mount ที่มาพร้อม Split Plates คล้ายกับคีย์บอร์ด Glare TKL และ Albatross TKL โดยจะตัดแบ่ง 60% Cluster และ Function Row ออกจาก Navigator Cluster ครับ ในช่วงที่เราพัฒนา เราได้มีการทดลองทั้ง Full Plate และ Split Plate พบว่าการแยก Plate ให้ Sound Profile ที่สูง (High Pitch) และดังกว่าอย่างเห็นได้ชัด ซึ่งตรงกับความต้องการของเราครับ อีกทั้ง Layout จะมีความสมมาตร ทำให้ Mounting Point ถูกวางในตำแหน่งที่สมมาตรเพื่อฟีลลิ่งการพิมพ์ที่คงที่และสม่ำเสมอครับ และได้มีการเพิ่ม Cutout ระหว่าง Function Row และ Number Row (เฉพาะ Aluminium Plate และ Carbon Fiber Plate เท่านั้น) เพื่อเพิ่ม Flex ให้กับ Alpha สำหรับ Plate แข็งอีกด้วยครับ
